Joyful Noise: A Gospel Christmas
Joyful Noise: A Gospel Christmas is coming up on Saturday, December 6th and Sunday December 7th. Tickets can be purchased online or in-person at the Ticket Omaha box office at 1200 Douglas Street. Special guests are planned. Stay tuned for announcements on transportation options in the weeks ahead.
Candle Light Memorial Service
We will host our Annual Candlelight Memorial Service on Thursday, November 13th at 7PM. Join us as we come together to honor and remember the lives of those who have earned their reward and eternal rest. All are welcome to join us for an evening of remembrance and hope.
Church Annual Meeting
Salem members next Sunday November 9th is our annual business meeting. Please stay a few moments following the morning worship experience as we discuss important matters in the life of our church and prayerfully anticipate all that is coming in 2026!
Corporate Prayer
Invite someone and join us for Corporate Prayer on Wednesday, November 5th at 6:30 PM here in the Sanctuary. This month our Military Ministry will lead in recognition of Veterans Day. Come ready to pray, support, and be a part of what God is doing in the life of our church.
Harvest Fest
Our annual Fall Harvest Festival is almost here! Bring your family on Friday, October 31st from 6-9PM. for our annual celebration. Young people get ready for food, carnival & video games, popcorn, a DJ and so much more! As the festival approaches, candy and treat donations are encouraged and can be dropped at the church during office hours no later than Wednesday, October 29th. We’ll see you there!
Fall Revival
Save the date our upcoming Fall Revival is Wednesday, Oct. 29th at 7 p.m.

Flu Shots
Protect yourself and others this fall by getting vaccinated against influenza. Flu shots will be available here at Salem from 10:30AM–12:30PM on Sunday, October 19th.
Prayer with the Pastor
“Prayer with the Pastor” begins Monday, October 13th. Join us at 7 a.m. every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday for online prayer and devotion led by our new Senior Pastor-Elect, Rev. Dr. Jarvis A. Ellis Sr. Stream at salembc.org, Facebook, or YouTube. All are welcome as we begin the day in the Word and in community.
Listening Sessions With Pastor Ellis and Family
“Listening Sessions with the Shepherd” This month begins a series of in-person sessions with our incoming First Family. Each designated Saturday in October and November, age-based groups will gather here at Salem for open dialogue and personal connection with Pastor Ellis, Lady Ellis, and their son J2. Snacks will be provided. Watch for more details via salembc.org, Constant Contact, and Salem’s social mediachannels.
Back N' School Bash
Join us for our Back N’ School Bash on Sunday September 28th from 2-4PM at Hope Skate. There will be roller skating, dodgeball, basketball and so much more. Food will be provided so get ready for a good time; we can’t wait to see you there!
Drive Up Food Giveaway
Salem join us for “Protein with a Purpose: A Special Distribution event with Saving Grace Perishable Food Rescue and Omaha Steaks.” This drive-thru event will occur on-site here at the church’s main parking lot on Thursday, September 25th. Volunteers alongside Salem’s Food Pantry team will help distribute food to those community members in need. Food distribution begins at the church’s main parking lot at 10am until supplies run out.
Fresh Fades & Flat Irons
Join us for our 3rd annual Fresh Fades and Flat Irons free back to school event. This event occurs over two days starting Monday, August 11th and Tuesday August 12th. Book your appointments now!! We’re offering free haircuts and free limited styling for girls. Remember that all services are by appointment only and spots are already filling up fast. Salem, our goal is to assist families in our community to prepare their students for a successful school year. Please contact the church office for all open volunteer opportunities.
