Salem Baptist Church is honored to invite the media and the greater community to a sacred and celebratory three-day event to officially install Rev. Dr. Jarvis A. Ellis, Sr. as the 8th Senior Pastor in the church’s more than 100-year history. This highly anticipated weekend marks a powerful moment of spiritual renewal, vision casting, and generational unity.
A native of Georgia and a nationally recognized voice in faith leadership, Dr. Ellis brings more than two decades of experience as a pastor, preacher and advocate for transformative ministry. Known for his passion for the Gospel, commitment to community engagement and bold, spirit-led leadership, he steps into his role at Salem at a time of significant opportunity for impact across Omaha and beyond.
This installation weekend marks a new era for one of Omaha’s most historic congregations.
